Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Murdoch isn’t making any New Years resolutions this year.
The Progressive Conservative MPP says he doesn’t like to make a promise that he may not be able to keep.
Murdoch says he does live by one resolution however and that’s to try to wake up with a positive attitude.
Murdoch admits he doesn’t always go to bed with a positive attitude but by morning he’s usually able to find the bright side of things.
As for 2010, Murdoch doesn’t think we are going to get out of the recession as fast as some think.
He believes the HST will hinder economic growth.
Murdoch says we are all consumers and the HST hits everyone and people won’t buy when they have to pay 8 per cent more.
