The Huron County SPCA is inviting residents to get involved with helping reduce the stray pet population through a dinner and auction that goes in Kincardine.
Huron Branch Manager Kara Gosleigh says the aptly-named SpayGetti dinner is on tonight.
The aim is to raise funds for the East Street branch in Goderich and Kozy Kat Kennels in Kincardine to provide spay-neuter services for pets.
Gosleigh says the dinner also features a silent auction.
Many of the items are framed prints of animals and scenes of the Lake Huron shoreline — as well as a quilt crafted in the Goderich-area.
Kincardine merchants have also donated a number of items to the silent auction.
Gosleigh says you can donate on the spot as well as get in on the auction.
The SpayGetti Dinner goes at the Legion in Kincardine — the doors open at 6 PM tonight.
