A number of charges — including attempted murder — against a Saugeen First Nation man have been dropped.
In fact — 10 of the 13 charges against 50 year old Michael Mandawoub were discharged.
Instead, Mandawoub pleaded guilty to three firearms offences and was sentenced to a day in jail.
He also received credit for 83 days of pre-sentence custody.
Mandawoub was arrested in May after police were called to French Bay Road about a gun being fired at a man on the reserve.
