The Alzheimer’s Society of Grey-Bruce needs some help in their Owen Sound office.
Volunteer Coordinator Carol McCurdy says they have an immediate need for volunteers with office administration skills.
But she says they’re also taking on people who are keen to learn word processing and accounting skills and commit time to help out.
McCurdy says you can help out as much as your schedule allows, and they will work around you.
The office hours are from 9 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday, and she says you can help out for a couple of hours, a half day, or a full day as many times a week or a month as you’d like.
McCurdy says the number of events they have is also growing, and there are lots of other volunteer opportunities within the Alzheimer’s Society.
