Budget discussions are progressing nicely in South Bruce Peninsula.
So says Mayor John Close.
He says it’s a tough budget year but nevertheless they’re looking at a zero per cent increase in the tax rate.
He says however, through this year’s re-assessment, some may see their taxes increase, but the municipality is holding steady at a zero percent tax rate right now.
Further budget meetings will be scheduled but Close says they’re close to their final document.
