March is all about wild weather at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton.
The museum is showcasing an Extreme Nature Exhibit, highlighted by an earthquake simulator.
Education and Outreach Coordinator Stephanie Riggs says the earthquake simulator delivers a milder version of the real thing.
She says over the March Break, children in their KidZone program can try their hand at building a structure to protect an egg from the quake simulator.
Riggs says other features of the exhibit include the history of natural disasters, how hurricanes are formed and why earthquakes occur.
The Museum also received a cheque for 23 hundred dollars from CIBC, which will go towards their KidZone and Summer programs.
The Extreme Nature Exhibit will be at the Museum until April 23rd.
