Charges have now been laid after a vehicle was hit by a bullet in Bruce County.
The OPP have now charged a Bruce Peninsula man with careless use of a firearm as he was hunting at the time.
The incident happened last Friday as a vehicle was on Highway 6 south of Ferndale.
Police are reminding people who discharge a firearm — whether hunting or target practicing — that they should know what is behind the target and where the bullet will stop.
