And then there were three — three candidates are now in the running to represent the Provincial Liberal Party from Bruce Grey Owen Sound.
Dan Duquette was the latest to file papers with the party in Toronto this week.
Duquette is a Teacher — currently a part time welding instructor at Georgian College in Owen Sound and operates Duke Iron in Durham.
Duquette feels with the current MPP Bill Murdoch stepping down at the end of this term, its the perfect time to run.
Duquette has always been interested in Politics but moved away from his political concerns to raise his family and feels now is the time to get back into the fray.
Duquette has many concerns, not the least of which is the development of wind farms in this area.
Duquette would also like to see fish farms rejuvenated throughout Grey Bruce.
The other candidates running for the Provincial Liberal nomination in Bruce Grey Owen Sound are West Grey Mayor Kevin Eccles and Hanover Councillor Selwyn Hicks.
The nomination vote is set for April 12th.
