You can celebrate one of the most popular hockey jerseys in Canadian history in Owen Sound on Thursday.
The Paul Henderson Jersey Tour and a special trailer will roll into Wal-Mart and Smart Centres in Owen Sound from 4 PM to 8 PM.
The tour features Henderson’s 1972 Summit Series jersey and the hockey gloves he wore that game he scored the winning goal for Canada.
There will also be rare Canadian hockey memorabilia and interactive games and displays.
Paul Henderson himself will not be a part of the tour in Owen Sound.
Smart Centres Real Estate of Toronto recently bought the sweater for 1.27 million dollars in an auction.
The tour is visiting over 60 centres across Canada until May.
