MPP’s are heading back to Queen’s Park on Tuesday and Conservative MPP Bill Murdoch is bringing a lot of paper with him.
Murdoch is bringing his petition with 700 names on it — calling on the province to change the school accommodation review process and save rural schools.
Murdoch says school closures in small communities have a much farther reaching impact than a closure in a major city, and that must be considered.
This is Murdoch’s last session of the legislature before he retires in October.
Bill Walker now has the Conservative nomination for the riding of Bruce Grey Owen Sound for the Ontario election on October 6th.
