Another reminder for snowmobile riders to obey trespassing laws.
South Bruce OPP received a call last week about a snowmobiler trespassing on a farmer’s field, causing damage to the wheat crop.
The snowmobile was located nearby and the operator was cautioned for trespassing.
Police say a snowmobile can only travel on private property with the permission of the land owner.
If you cause damage to crops, a criminal charge of mischief may be considered.
