The strong winds are expected to continue today.
That’s why Environment Canada has issued a blowing snow warning for most of southern Ontario including our region.
Winds could still gust to 60, even 80 kilometres an hour.
The highest winds were recorded at 103 kilometres an hour at 4:30 AM Saturday.
Environment Canada says the snowfall isn’t heavy, but the winds will continue to blow what snow there is around, causing whiteout conditions right through to this afternoon.
