Brockton’s Deputy Mayor is not appealing a theft conviction.
Roland Anstett was found guilty last year of taking money from a cash register of the LCBO store he managed in Walkerton.
Anstett had filed an appeal in Walkerton court, but now that appeal has been abandoned.
Anstett was given a conditional discharge and ordered to pay back the money — which totalled less than 200 dollars.
