Grey County OPP executed a search warrant under the Dog Owners Liability Act on a Chatsworth area property.
Officers attended the residence southwest of Chatsworth Wednesday morning and with the assistance of local animal control officers removed six dogs from the property.
Investigators allege the dogs have been involved in threats to nearby residents and attacks on pets in the community.
Constable Steve Starr says the dogs were removed without incident by animal control officers who assisted police.
Starr says the medium to large dogs are in good health and are now in the local pound.
The 60 year old owner is facing charges including breaching a court order, six counts of owning a dangerous animal, and six counts of failing to prevent a dog from attacking a person or animal.
He will appear in Owen Sound court February 28th.
