Young filmmakers in Grey and Bruce are going to be featured on the big screen tonight.’
The Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival screening is going to take place at Galaxy Cinemas in Owen Sound this year.
Fourteen short films will be featured, plus two additional short films from last summer’s Meaford Youth Film Studio.
The screening will be followed with an awards ceremony where the winners will be announced.
The film festival is put on by the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library, and sponsored by the United Way of Bruce-Grey, and the Bruce County, Grey Highlands, Hanover, Meaford and West Grey Public Libraries.
The films featured include a music video set in Foodland, a giant mutant slug, and a mysterious prototype.
The festival runs from 5 PM to 7:30 PM tonight and is free of charge to the public.
