The City of Owen Sound is hosting an information session tonight regarding the “Owen Sound Safe Trails Network For All” project.
The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the project and gather input from the public.
The discussion will centre on the current trail systems within the city and future considerations within the project.
The City and its partners have applied under the Healthy Communities Fund and received approval from the Ministry of Health Promotions for the project.
The project involves development of a trails inventory, a planning phase, implementation, and promotion.
Owen Sound residents, local clubs and organizations who use the trails are invited to attend the meeting and share your views on the current trails system.
The public meeting is being held at 7 PM at Owen Sound City Hall Council Chambers.
If you are unable to attend, written submission can still be forwarded to the Trails Program Coordinator at the City of Owen Sound.
