The storm is here and it has created hazardous conditions in our roads.
The OPP are saying stay off the roads and do not drive if it’s not necessary.
Fortunately Wednesday’s storm was predicted early giving police a chance to warn the public of the dangers.
Constable Steve Starr of Grey County OPP says there are a number of issues if you do decide to drive in these terrible weather conditions.
If you are caught driving on a closed road – you face a fine and charges.
In addition – if you get into an accident on a closed road, insurance will cover you.
Starr says, the Grey County OPP is fully staffed today but will only respond to emergency calls.
