The Heart and Stroke Foundation is looking for your help.
February is Heart Month — and the Grey Bruce chapter of the Heart and Stroke Foundation is raising money this month.
Program Co-ordinator Lana Marie Clendenning tells Bayshore Broadcasting News they have 11 hundred people canvassing door to door across Grey Bruce.
But Clendenning notes the times are changing and there are more ways to generate money.
There is desk to desk fundraising — where someone can carry a receipt book with you and approach family members, friends or co-workers to pledge.
Clendenning also notes they are taking online pledges.
Clendenning is optimistic they have will have a strong fundraising campaign because many people are affected by heart disease in Canada.
She notes people are affected by heart disease through their own illness or by a family member.
Volunteers are still welcome.
