A 55 year old woman escaped serious injury after crashing her snowmobile into a tree south of Tobermory.
Bruce Peninsula OPP say the woman was riding her machine, travelling with her husband, around 2:30 PM on Sunday when she hit a tree just off the trail.
The Kitchener woman was rescued by members of the Northern Bruce Peninsula fire department who used a snow machine and rescue stretcher to get to her.
She was taken to the Lions Head hospital and was kept overnight for observation.
