South Bruce Peninsula’s Community Based Strategic Plan continues to take shape.
DPRA Consulting is handling the framework of the plan, and Principal Joe Pittari says they have the vision laid out — and now just need to fill in the blanks.
With that in mind, Pittari called for further public input during Tuesday’s well attended public meeting in Sauble Beach.
He wants feedback from residents and community groups on the five pillars of the plan…the Vision, Goals, Objectives, Actions and the Implementation process.
Pittari tells Bayshore Broadcasting News, the plan is essentially a roadmap that will guide the municipality for the next decade.
He notes the plan must also be flexible, as priorities often change.
But at the end of the day, Pittari says they want to build a cohesive community that strives for balance, sustainable growth and prosperity.
Pittari adds you still have the opportunity to offer your feedback until February 17th, and then the latest draft will be presented to SBP council on March 6th.
