Regional Tourism Organization 7 is holding a town hall information session in Owen Sound today, where the new consumer brand will be unveiled.
Members of the public are invited to the session, which runs from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Best Western Inn on the Bay.
Officials plan to unveil a destination name for the area, as well as a logo and they’ll be talking about how that will be rolled out through a marketing campaign.
RTO 7 is one of 13 RTOs in the province.
They were created in 2010 by the Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Culture and are to work with tourism partners and stakeholders to promote tourism across the region.
There is also a Collingwood session on Thursday from 10 AM to Noon at the Cranberry Resort – Bear Estate.
