The restaurant at the Colonial Motel and Antiques in Port Elgin is closed today after a fire.
The Saugeen Shores Fire Department responded to a call around 5:30 AM about a fire in the kitchen.
Fire Chief Phil Eagleson tells Bayshore Broadcasting News their 20 volunteer firefighters worked quickly to stop the fire from spreading.
No one was hurt in the fire.
The dollar amount of damage is still being totalled.
The restaurant at the Colonial will be closed today — but it is expected to reopen later this week.
It is the third fire call in Saugeen Shores in 36 hours — and Eagleson tells us in all cases — they worked quickly to limit the fire damage.
The other fires were at an apartment and a home.
