The Board of the Hanover and District Hospital is looking for new Directors.
CEO Katrina Wilson says the Board is seeking out interested individuals that have something positive to contribute.
She says it’s all part of their mandate to have a skills based Board of Directors.
Wilson says they hope to recruit individuals from a diverse expertise and background — either business, law or health.
Wilson says by recruiting community experts with diverse backgrounds — the new members will help bring fresh ideas to the table and prompt new strategies.
Applicants should also have a keen interest in health care and their community.
The Nominating Committee is conducting a skill based analysis on the current Board of Directors to identify any gaps in skills.
The Nominating Committee will than seek out applicants that can fill that skill gap.
Applications can be obtained at the Hanover and District Hospital.
Nominees are encouraged to submit their application soon.
The new Hanover and District Hospital Board of Directors will be formed in June.
