The window for exhibitor registration for the annual Home and Cottage Expo in Owen Sound is still open.
Although the deadline for registration passed on Monday — Event Facilitator Doug Cleverley says it’s really just a soft deadline.
Cleverley says they are still registering vendors, however he notes they will be allocating booth spaces by the end of March, so the sooner exhibitors register the better.
Cleverley also points out they’re currently over two thirds full at this point and they anticipate the show will be sold out.
Last year was a peak year with 118 individual companies or exhibitors at the show — equating to about 158 booths and about four thousand visitors during the two day show.
Cleverley says those numbers make it by far the largest show in the region.
The Garden Annex is the most popular area of the Expo according to their visitor survey — with 47 per cent of visitors indicating that gardening and landscaping was their prime interest.
The Home and Cottage Expo goes April 21 and 22 at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
