After a month long investigation — members from the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit, Cape Croker Police Service and OPP Emergency Response Team, executed a Search Warrant on the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation.
Officers went to a home on Lake Shore Boulevard late Tuesday afternoon to conduct the search.
Police found a quantity of suspected marihuana, along with several firearms that were not stored in a safe manner.
A 59 year old man and a 46 year old woman who live at the house, were arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Firearms Storage related offences.
Both were later released to appear in Owen Sound Court on April 12th.
A 34-year-old man, who also lives at the Lake Shore address, was arrested at the house and held in custody pending a Bail Hearing in Owen Sound Court.
He is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and in addition, will face 10 Firearms related offences.
