The Bluewater District School Board is hosting a series of public forums over the next couple months about its strategic plan.
It was back in March of 2011 the board announced plans for a strategic plan and this past January they officially launched it.
Now Director of Education John Bryant wants public input.
The Board is holding three public forums, beginning Wednesday at 6:45 PM at Hanover Heights Community School.
For West area residents a meeting is planned for March 21st at Saugeen Central in Port Elgin and for those in the North East area — there’s a forum April 18th at Beaver Valley Community School.
Bryant says it’s imperative the community stay involved with education and he plans to encourage that through the public meetings.
The Director of Education says the Board is setting the course for the next three years and they want all stakeholders to be a part of it.
Bryant says their priorities focuses on parent engagement, the well-being of students and staff and a high quality of instruction.
