Members of OPSEU will use their lunch hours today to stage information pickets in 25 communities across the province — including Owen Sound.
The pickets will be held outside ServiceOntario offices where OPSEU members say they’ll hand out important information.
The McGuinty government has announced plans to hand over ServiceOntario to a “public private partnership.”
The union fears privatization will reduce access to front line services and jeopardize the security of personal information.
