There has been another dog bite in our region.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit says a man was bitten by a dog in the soccer field next to the Kincardine dog park around 9 AM on Tuesday.
Officials say the man was trying to separate his own dog from the dog which bit him.
The suspect dog is described as a black 10 month old German Shepherd who was in the care of a woman.
Health officials say they need to confirm the dog is not infectious with rabies — so the owner doesn’t have to receive painful post exposure rabies treatment.
