Don’t always trust your GPS.
A 19 year old woman from Port Elgin followed the instructions on her GPS and got stuck on a “no winter maintenance” road in Grey Highlands on Sunday afternoon.
She used her cellphone to call Grey County OPP — who then located a tow truck to free her vehicle from Campbell’s Hill, just west of Grey Road 13.
Police say you shouldn’t rely solely on your GPS — especially if you’re not familiar with the area.
Use common sense – if the road looks impassable – it probably is.
