Police have a man in custody after a chase from Howick Township to Harriston.
The OPP responded to a call on Friday morning about a suspicious pickup parked beside a barn on the Huron Bruce Road.
When officers arrived — a man fled the scene in a stolen Ford pickup.
Police say they ended the chase — but later found the truck had hit a tree in Harriston.
That is when officers chased the suspect on foot and arrested the man in Harriston a short time later.
Huron OPP now have the suspect in custody — but no other information is being released.
The case involved officers from the South Bruce, Huron and Wellington OPP detachments.
