One of Ontario’s new Easter Seal Ambassadors is from Grey County.
12 year old Natalie McDonald has been named this year’s female Easter Seals Ambassador in Ontario.
The Hanover Heights student is thrilled.
McDonald tells Bayshore Broadcasting News this has been a dream of hers for quite some time.
McDonald says she is eager to represent the 20 thousand kids living in Ontario with a physical disability — to show them that anything is possible.
She vows to do her best — sharing the message that Easter Seals is the charity that helps kids with physical disabilities.
The Grade 7 student has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and has received specialized equipment through Easter Seals and attends the Easter Seals Summer Camp.
In return Natalie has raised over 25 thousand dollars over the last four years for the Easter Seals Society through her annual Family Fun Dance Birthday Bash each Fall.
As part of her duties — McDonald will be busy traveling across the province to attend numerous events on behalf of Easter Seals.
She lives just outside of Allan Park with her parents Christina and Terry and younger brother Wyatt.
