Looking for a job? Canadian Tire in Port Elgin is hiring.
Construction continues on the new Canadian Tire outlet in front of the Wal Mart store in the south end of Port Elgin.
Local Canadian Tire Dealer Mike Mowbray says they are now hiring for various jobs for their new store.
The job fair will be held on Thursday February 2nd from 11 AM till 8 PM at the Super 8 Motel in Port Elgin.
All applicants should bring their resume.
The store is expected to open around the May long weekend.
Mowbray says in the summertime they plan to double their labour force to over 50 employees.
The new Canadian Tire store will be a 28 thousand square foot building — along with a six thousand square foot garden centre.
It will cost over five million-dollars to complete.
There will also be a Canadian Tire gas bar and a Tim Horton’s drive-thru.
