It’s the last day for tenders for work on three Bluewater District Elementary Schools .
This year in Port Elgin, the Bluewater Board has a nearly 700 thousand dollar upgrade planned for two more classrooms at Northport Elementary.
Also included in that figure is renovation work to the interior.
The Board also plans to spend around 200 thousand dollars on work at Dundalk Proton.
There’s a four classroom addition planned at Keppel Sarawak.
Work there is planned to begin in March and is estimated to cost about 1.7 million dollars and means the end for three portable classrooms.
One of the additional rooms is to accommodate all-day kindergarten.
The request for proposals deadline is today.
