It appears some people in the area heard the warnings about bad weather, and adjusted their driving.
During the quick freeze and snowfall Tuesday afternoon and evening — South Bruce OPP report no collisions in their area.
Constable Kevin Martin says it is encouraging, since we haven’t had too much winter weather this year.
In Grey County — some drivers ignored the warnings and paid a price.
The OPP responded to 13 motor vehicle collisions between 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon and 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon.
Fortunately, the collisions were all considered minor in nature.
As we told you on Wednesday — there were nine crashes on the Bruce Peninsula — mostly involving vehicles sliding into ditches — and no one was seriously hurt.
Police remind you to slow down and drive for the conditions and make sure your vehicle is winter ready with a survival kit.
