We may see a few light flurries this morning and could get up to 5 more centimetres, but for the most part the worst of the latest winter storm is over.
The flurries and squalls on Friday did cause a few crashes in our area, but nothing major.
It will be very cold today as we head to just minus 6 feeling more like minus 20 with the wind.
The cold temperatures are good news for skiiers though.
Blue Mountain says it’s taking advantage of the chill to make snow to create consistent conditions for the rest of the season.
Blue does recommend skiiers and boarders wear goggles and face protection during the snow making process.
As for the snow mother nature has made, there still isn’t enough to prompt the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs to open trails around our area.
