A reminder for cottage owners.
Police say you should remove all liquor, electronics, cash and valuables from your seasonal property when you close it up for the winter.
The OPP say when a break-in occurs, these items are the first to be taken.
And they also point out a second break-in may follow as thieves will remember the location of a “successful score.”
Bruce Peninsula OPP report a cottage break-in last weekend on Bruce Road 13 – but nothing appears to be taken.
