Two women have been arrested on drug charges in Owen Sound.
Members of the Owen Sound Police Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a downtown area apartment on Thursday night.
The search warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation into the trafficking of prescription drugs within the City.
As a result, Owen Sound Police seized small quantities of Morphine, Ritalin, codeine, marijuana and cash.
A 52 year old woman and a 46 year old woman both from Owen Sound face numerous charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, and trafficking in the various drugs.
One woman is in custody and the other will be in court on February 2nd.
