Many of us may have done it already — or are doing it this weekend.
Taking down the Christmas tree and all of the decorations.
But for those of you with a real tree, there will be no tree pick-up in Owen Sound this year.
Chris Hughes in the Public Works department says they’re asking everyone to dispose of their trees by bringing them to the compost site, and leaving it in the brush pile.
He says to make sure there is no tinsel left on the tree, and if you’ve bagged it to bring in your car, you must take the plastic off before disposing it.
The city’s compost site is open from 8:30 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week.
