The Chi Cheemaun is expected back in the Scenic City tonight,
The Owen Sound Transportation Company says the Big Canoe is expected to dock in the City’s harbour around 10 PM tonight.
The ferry is on its way back from Thunder Bay after its five year inspection.
The work included removing and re-installing the drive shafts.
The cost of the inspection and servicing totals 1.7 million dollars — but that is a capital cost picked up by the province.
