You will be able to enjoy the Festival of Northern Lights in Owen Sound a little bit longer.
The board has extended the 24th annual Festival for a week — until January 9th.
The festival was scheduled to end on January 3rd.
The board says the decision was made based on the popularity of the festival and the school holiday schedule.
Winners for the Festival’s first annual Great Online Contest will be announced live on
air at Mix 106.5 on Friday January 6th.
Grand prizes include an Attack Hockey with Dinner and Hotel package, a Cultural Package featuring Symphony or Roxy Theatre entertainment, Hotel and Dinner, and two weekend passes to Summerfolk 2012.
Melissa and Jonathon Ward, Winners of the Great Lakes Helicopter Company Ride Over the Lights prize, sponsored by Ken Philp Plumbing and Heating of Owen Sound, will enjoy their flight on Saturday January 7th.
