South Bruce OPP have made an arrest in connection with an assault in Chesley.
On December 29th last year the OPP received a report of an assault at home on 1st Avenue South in Chesley.
The owner of the home had been assaulted after refusing to co-operate with the suspects.
During the assault a firearm was brandished before the suspects fled the scene.
An initial search of the area by the OPP West Region Emergency Response Team and the OPP Canine Unit turned up no suspects.
The home owner was treated for minor injuries.
Police have caught up with 28 year old Jamie Kendrick of Neustadt – he’s been arrested and charged with armed robbery and public mischief.
