Another success for the United Way of Bruce Grey.
Their 7th Annual Starlight Film Festival was completely sold out on Friday night.
Executive Director Francesca Dobbyn says not only did 300 youth take part – they raised 6-thousand dollars.
Dobbyn says the money will fund children and youth projects throughout Bruce and Grey Counties.
The teens stayed up all night watching movies at the Galaxy Theatre in Owen Sound.
Dobbyn says many seem to think letting hundreds of teenagers stay awake from midnight to 8 AM at the movies would be too much to handle – but she says the kids are great.
She adds a huge thanks is due to the many volunteers who also make the event a success.
The 2010 event is already being planned for April 18th.
