There are plans for a walking trail in the village of Chatsworth.
The proposed trail would begin at the arena’s soccer field, and would link up with the Massie road along private property and the former rail line.
Councillor Terry McKay says there has been a lot of interest in the trail.
A 7 member committee has been established to work on the trail proposal.
McKay says work will soon start on marking out the trail, adding they will require some volunteers to help with clean-up.
McKay hopes the trail will be in place by the fall.
He says the trail will prohibit ATV’s, but he would like to look into allowing horses on the trail.
