Some party stunts have landed a 19 year old Kitchener man with serious charges.
Bruce Peninsula OPP were called to the White Sands Campground near Sauble Beach Sunday night after reports a woman had fallen off the back of a pick-up truck.
The 19 year old woman was one of several people in the back, while the driver of the pickup performed stunts.
Police say she fell from the truck and struck her head.
She was taken to Wiarton hospital and later air-lifted to London with serious head injuries.
The driver drove off, but was later identified by police at the campground.
He has been charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm and Failing to Remain at the Scene of a Collision, and Causing Bodily Harm.
Police caution that being in the rear of an open pickup truck while it is moving can be dangerous.
Further, police say being in the back of a pickup that is performing stunts is “beyond dangerous”.
