An Ayton woman is dead after a single vehicle crash south of the Normanby Bentinck townline.
West Grey Police received a call just after 6 o’clock Saturday morning after a passing motorist on Grey Road 28 saw a vehicle in a cornfield.
The investigation revealed the car left the road, hit a culvert, went airborne and landed back on its wheels.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The victim has been identified as 30 year old Boujena Taillonof Ayton.
She was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
An autopsy is being done today.
