The Drinking Water Source Protection Committee is putting together a draft terms of reference.
It will become a work plan for the group as they put together an assessment report and a long term source protection plan in 2012.
The deadline for public comments is tomorrow.
The committee’s Communications Specialist, David Ellingwood, says they have received a number of comments from residents.
Ellingwood says people want to make sure their municipalities are involved in the process and they will have a chance to make further comments.
The committee will finalize a draft terms of reference next month and residents will get a chance to view it one more time before its finally approved.
Ellingwood notes they have been doing a lot of work for the last few years.
He says technical work has been ongoing for three years now and consultants have been gathering different data.
