Here we go again.
Moisture has been found in the basement of the Kincardine Medical Clinic.
The area in question is where there was a drainage issue in the first place when the clinic was being built.
Council is now looking at how to fix the issue once again.
Kincardine councillor Randy Roppel says putting in a porcelain floor but with cement grout, you’re going to have the same problem.
Roppel says we’re spending 138 thousand dollars on more moisture rather than solving the problem once and for all.
He asks why we’re having the problem in the first place.
Council agreed to have the architects prepare a public tender to replace the flooring in the lower level of the Medical Clinic with ceramic tile but council directed staff to see if they could negotiate a break in the five thousand dollar architect fee.
