A 34 year old Hepworth man is facing charges after fleeing from a hit and run collision.
Bruce Peninsula OPP say the crash happened late Wednesday night.
Officers were called to Isaac Street in Wiarton just before midnight to investigate the hit and run.
The suspect, driving a Ford pick-up truck, had run into the back of a parked SUV.
The OPP say the driver got out of the truck, and when he heard police were being called, left the scene on foot.
Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, he left his wallet and several bottles of liquor behind in the abandoned vehicle which was registered to him.
The driver was found several blocks away and has been charged with Impaired Driving, Fail to Remain at a Collision Scene, and Fail to Provide Breath Samples.
He is scheduled to appear in Owen Sound Court on January 5th.
