Norm Bethune will remain Chair of the Bruce Grey Catholic School Board.
A unanimous show of support from his fellow trustees on Monday garnered Bethune his ninth term as chair.
This is Bethune’s 14th year as a trustee — prior to that he dedicated 35 years to teaching and serving as principal.
Bethune says he’s fortunate to work with such a great team of trustees and staff.
Bethune will give his inaugural address on January 24th, outlining his vision and the direction for the board in 2012.
Bethune says the separate school system continues to make great strides and boasts strong support across the province.
Vice Chair Bev Eckensweiler was also acclaimed.
This is her fourth consecutive term — and Eckensweiler says she too is honoured to have the support of her fellow trustees.
Eckensweiler says she is both eager to learn and serve as she continues in her role as vice chair.
