The website www.brucegreyenvironment.com is now live and online.
Bruce County Stewardship Coordinator Craig Todd says the new website is already linking community not-for-profit groups together, with 16 organizations signed up.
Todd says it’s an especially great site for groups that are too small to have their own website.
He says it gives them a chance to post about their coming event, be it a tree planting or trail cleaning day.
The beauty of it says Todd is that the website allows the user to update their own information.
Those groups that sign up are given a password and Todd says it’s free to join this year, but starting next year there’s a 25 dollar a year cost.
Todd add’s the site is great if you want to help a not-for-profit environmental group in your community but don’t know where to find them.
